Despite all the negative reviews and such. Mostly bought it because I was having a hard time getting the og Battlefront 2 to work properly.

What am I in for? Mainly got it for the single player, but how's the online?

The game as a whole is just Battlefront 1 and 2, except the developers added mountains of bugs. And the graphics are ran through an HD upscaler that somehow makes the game's filesize as big as Elden Ring. The multiplayer is / was completely and utterly borked, even moreso on initial release. The singleplayer is fine, except they somehow broke the cutscenes that would play at the end of every mission.

Ideally you just play the original releases, which are dirt cheap and aren't as horrifically buggy. But if you really can't get them to work then the new one is ok for singleplayer i guess.

It's pretty disgusting. I had zero expectations. In the lead up to the game there were people that thought they would add new features like online Galactic Conquest and new new characters (not just the Xbox DLC ones). I was expecting they would just do the bare minimum. Add nothing. Just "HD-ify" it and charge 35 dollars. Instead they did less than nothing. They took a finished game, destroyed it, and charged 35 dollars.

I bought it expecting to play it for a good month or more.

I find it alright, then again I triple-dipped (original on PS2, classic games on Steam, then collection on Switch)

Ill buy it maybe when it gets heavily discounted on some sale.

The only incentive to that ripoff IS the online because they're hosted on different servers...

Get a refund and try to have your game fixed.

I haven't touched it in 2 weeks. Singleplayer is perfectly fine. The only downside right now is that the latest patch fucked up the medal system, so even if you're ranked Legendary in a medal, you don't get the perk upon spawning anymore.

Multiplayer is still janky >_> Lots of latency and camera glitches. There seems to be enough servers now at least.

I didn't get the achievement for Legendary status on the regular blaster rifle despite unlocking lol >_>
