Hate on TDKR all ya want (you should), but Bane's look and voice were real memorable and parodied to death. Ain't no one out here as the Riddler with his garbage bag mask.

Neither was Batman Begins Scarecrow.

I remember a burlap sack and that's about it.

I had to looked up what the Riddler looked like in that movie again. Had completely forgotten. So much about that movie is forgettable.

I actually liked The Batman. Had problems for sure, but it was alright. Like a 7 or so.

I agree, not perfect but i really enjoyed it. The last third was definitely my least favorite

I believe Riddler's whole vibe was meant to resemble the Zodiac Killer.

Plus, he's basically like a terminally online incel so he ain't supposed to look cool

I still haven't actually watched The Batman all the way through, but it's on my list.

I don't understand why they went through so much trouble to hide his face when the first time you see him he's not anyone else you've seen before.

I didnt dislike it, but I thought it was definitely forgettable.

I liked a lot of elements from the movie, but I disliked Bruce Wayne and Batman. I just didnt care for how they were portrayed at all. And I thought the 3 hour runtime really hurt the movie. Too long.

Liked a lot of the other characters and their presentations. Liked the settings. Reeeeaally didnt like how the Riddler just gave himself up.

I cant imagine Ill ever go out of my way to watch it again, though. Too long.

Thats fair. I personally really liked how this version of Bruce Wayne clearly had trouble turning the Batman persona off. I do agree that it didnt need to be 3 hours tho.

He was meant to look like a 4chan incel, so they nailed that.

Honestly, I think Robert Pattinson is the best live-action Batman we've seen yet. Not only is he the first Batman to actively avoid killing, but he's also the first Batman to act like a real detective. Plus he captures the mannerisms of Batman the best IMO

Every time he walks into a scene, he's quiet and moody and you can clearly tell he's analyzing the scene for clues

I felt like most Batmans were always playing the most cliche version of Batman and not the one like in the comics. He definitely plays more like an early Batman I'd see in the comic books. Not just "oh I'm going to appear and talk and then disappear right after" I think this is more true to Christian Bale's Batman...and the voice he used was too ridiculous.

I'm hoping the next Batman movie will have Robert playing with a little more experience as his fights did feel more grounded but Batman maneuvered like a ninja and wasn't as clumsy in his fights.
