I like where your head is at but it's up to the platform. I also think it's the obligation of Twitch for that kinda thing. Twitch warns you that a stream may have mature content before you can watch it. If people are out here getting seizures, it shouldn't be up to the streamer to take care of that. That's a wider issue, and potentially legal, that Twitch should account for. I don't really care to find out but I'd assume Twitch already prefaces that or something. A lot of NES games flash sprites because it can't handle multiple sprites on the same screen. Sometimes people's video quality is shitty.

I mean really, someone who knows how to donate money on stream to a guy named Dr Disrespect? I said this before but yeah in the worst, confirmed, case of cancer dying child on his last breath, it's shitty af. Even less extreme than that, sure.

What's the debate here? Is it that he shouldn't do it, or that he shouldn't be allowed to do it? If all it is is yes/no to him being a dick, I can see why yes. I don't think he's a demon though, if we're talking about demon/angel.

I think if seizures can happen, it should be up to Twitch to have that warning. I don't think they shouldn't be "allowed" to participate. How do you feel about concerts? There's a lot of light shows and light work. 4th of July fireworks? I'm not saying they shouldn't be allowed in. There's a partial responsibility of them, but really it lies on Twitch to have that discretion like how every game in the past decade or so has had to do so.

I'm saying that, if you know you are triggered by flashing lights, why would you go see a firework show, and why would you ask them to not blow them up?

There are also numerous performers (moreso than not, especially the higher in fame you go) that do use special lights. Maybe indie punk and some hiphop shows don't use lights and that's it.

I'm saying it's not up to the streamer to account for this. It is either up to the platform that puts them on, or the person themselves, or maybe some combination of both (gasp). If Dr Disrespect loses a court case for this, I would agree with him losing. He's technically allowed to do this, and I don't think it's as wrong as you want me to think it is, even if I would think it's wrong in other parallel scenarios.

Well if you're holding me to something how about I ask something in return? How about try not making shitty or miserable posts? You don't have to worry about being called out by anyone that way. Try making positive posts/topics about things you enjoy. Maybe it'll even make you feel better about your circumstances. I know my gamefaqs experience has gone better when I started posting more about things I enjoyed.
