I've learned to keep a few thousand dollars set aside for home repairs because shit is always breaking and it's good to know that you're covered when the doorknob needs replaced or the pipe under the kitchen sink sprung a leak or whatever

I clean mine every Fall after all the leaves have come off the trees. No sense letting them be all full with all of the snow we get in my area and the melt from that and the occasional early spring rain. Much better to clean them in the Fall.

Yes climbing that ladder was a bit scary but the shit was overflowing a bit so I had to do it since it was warm today. Trying not to be the trashiest person on the street.
