I have a theory that he's already defeated and Gege might be trolling us hard right now which is why the fight seems so impossible.

Jacob's ladder (movie) spoilers:
The movie Jacob's ladder takes place in the mind of a dying soldier as he imagines what life would have been like if he made it home. Similarly, the biblical Jacob's ladder also only exists in a dream.

What if everything post Sukuna getting hit with Jacob's ladder is literally his dying dream showing him beating everyone? That would explain why Gege seems cool with keeping the fight so unbelievably one sided.

These last few chapters have been complete shit, so at least there's some movement happening now. Author man is just drawing the story out with the greatest hits of Sukuna handing out ass whoopings and it overstayed it's welcome fast. Just let Yuji hit a monumental black flash and end this dogshit already bruh
