I just mean that a character shouldn't sound exactly the same when they're yelling because someone is about to die and when they're talking about how they should go meet up with Johnny at the hotel.

Actually, question: how do you feel about the voice acting in Frieren? Because I had this exact same conversation with a friend like two weeks ago, just about a different piece of media.

Frieren VA work is good, I feel like it's exactly what the show is actually going for and is extremely appropriate for the characters that do have those soft voices. If Stark talked like Frieren or Fern that would be a problem, but the doesn't, the characters sound like I would expect them to.

Right. We'll just have to agree to disagree on the FF7 voices then.

I love both. Satisfying combat system, well realized worlds, amazing music, and characters that are absolutely brimming with life. For both games.

Both were 10/10 experiences for me.
