I'm so jealous.
But I don't believe jealousy is inherently a bad thing. Just dont focus too much on it and it's all good.
And it gives one something to strive for. Like an 80s action movie hero in a sense.

I'm friends with a couple that post everything they do. I started to notice they're always flying somewhere. I decided to look at a calendar year, they took 10 flights/vacations. This is not normal.

I often feel like I'm using social media wrong. I'll look at photos of others on vacation and think, "Oh, that looks so cool." Then I like their picture and go on with my day.

What about cushy jobs that just make okish pay. Like I don't think I could afford to live by myself off this job but just having someone work part time to supplement it would Do the trick. I might do 2 or 3 loads of laundry fold them and the rest is just getting up and walking around every 15 minutes. I'm eventually gonna have to learn some of the paper work but it doesn't look that hard and from what I've seen usually knocked out in the first hour of the shift. I spend most of thr night on here

For me, at this point, cushy would mean having enough money to pay for bills and put into savings as in case something comes up, maybe take an occasional trip. And also Id love a work from home job where I can just like do work without getting screamed at by customers all day and suffering consequences for other peoples choices.

Paid holidays off would be nice too.

You have to remember that most people only put the good shit on there.

If you were to scroll through what Ive put on Facebook for the last couple of years, youd think all I ever do is go on holidays and eat at posh restaurants (well, and get engaged, be on TV a few times and get a puppy). I dont put the bad shit on there.

Ugh, I know a lot of people on Facebook that literally look like goblins and mutants but they think they are incredibly attractive. It is verboten to call people ugly on FB.

Many of the people flexing on social media are liars or theyre deeply unhappy even with those perks. I wouldnt sweat it.

I dont think its normally liars so much as youre just getting a very filtered snapshot of their life.

I only have close friends and family on my FB to keep in touch. We've all gone our separate ways that it's refreshing that someone I use to know has bought a house or now has a kid and similar things. Is that considered flexing and bragging?
