I guess the humor is in the context.

My special instructions are typically asking for condiments/sauces, like sour cream, to be removed. I'm always iffy on having to do that though, because I've had several orders that didn't remove what I requested.

So often I just won't order from a store if there aren't any built in options to add/remove things.

That's if I'm having someone else order something for me. If I'm doing it on my own I will get slightly more picky, but not much.

For many things, I prefer them plain, but I also find myself a lot more accepting of diverse tastes nowadays!

I used to shun guac and cheese, but I don't mind putting it on stuff now. ^_^

I try not to. I make the ordering process as simple as possible. Most of the time all I ask for is no Mustard or Pickles on my burger. But people like to ask to cut the burger in half or have the patty well done ect.

you mean like going inside and ordering from mcd's ? and like ordering pickles and stuff?

My attitude is that specific orders are fine, but that the more things you specify the absolute less of a right you have to complain about a meal not turning out exactly right.
