I have never heard of "Los Vegas" but I have heard of Las Vegas.

They've got some state and national parks nee vegas, also got the hoover dam, and like 2 hours further you've got the west rim of the grand canyon.

There are essentially 2 areas in Neveda inhabited by people. Las Vegas in the southern point, and Carson City/Reno in the northwest. You'll probably find some brothels in between, but otherwise the rest of the state is a wasteland.
