Rhaenys manages to retrieve her dragon, escape from prison and, on her dragon, stand face to face with Aegon and the entire goddamn bloodline at the coronation ceremony, and instead of ending the war right then and there by burning them all to death she decides nah, it wouldnt be right to kill you all like this, youre family, so ill leave and come back with other people and well kill you then.

Is this just meant to be a manufactured stupid but wow cool TV moment or is there logic here that im missing?

Yes but this is before the war actually started. So she doesn't want to be responsible for setting things off.

It's this. It wasn't in the book.

Kinslaying,is also relevant.

The two popular phases in Westeros:
"No man is so accursed as the kinslayer"
"The kinslayer is accursed in the eyes of gods and men"

"There are degrees in kinslaying, as in anything else. Fighting a battle in which a brother dies might be frowned upon, but killing him with your own hand would be considered far worse." -- GRRM
