it just wrapped up yesterday with episode 28

I picked up the manga just a few weeks before the first episode aired at the recommendation of some peeps, and simultaneously going through the manga while watching the anime has been nothing short of amazing to see the love that was poured into the adaptation

I don't watch series who's popularity is 100% based on memes

I watched it up until the certification exam. I didnt really find it all that great and stopped watching.

Some of my favorite shows are slower and dont have much action, so this seemed right up my alley. For some reason i just find it really boring though

Idk if ill enjoy it cuz I mainly watch anime for the powerfantasy stuff but apparently this show is more grounded than that

It's popularity isn't because of memes though. It has really great characters. The main character is an elf in a world where elves live for 10,000+ years. So she doesn't understand a lot of the things that humans care about. But slowly, she does try to understand and it's really wholesome.

It's a very slow show though, so it's not for everyone.
