I may check it out a few years down the road if I ever replay FF16.

I got FF16 at launch and finished it. I liked it for the most part but don't really have any interest in going back to the game anytime soon.

It looks like it has a chance, the main villain has a voiceover in the trailer and is shown alongside the three main characters + the DLC's new character

Plus the short little clip at the end of Clive with wings

Story wise. It was by design from the beginning. If 16 didnt sell well they still had a complete game with an excuse for Leviathan. If it sold well then "push this button for DLC development". I think they said something like this. But kinda funny how a 10 hour story DLC will release just 10 months after the games release when "they didnt plan for it from the get go"
