If I was GOD I'd save people every day. If the world gets over populated with people. I would just create another Earth..

If I recall (bone) cancer in children was Stephen Fry's specific example when criticizing religion.

To me it says whether God exists or not if we want the world to be better we have to do it ourselves because no deity is going to come along and do it for us.

This board is way behind on judeochristian argumentation, but this is the one fairly consistent thing that trips up proponents.

It's "this is clearly moral and also the bible and god say so", until it's not clearly moral. Then it's "what we believe to be moral is arbitrary, true objective morality is from god even if we can't make sense of it"

It makes sense until it doesn't, essentially. But then why even try to make sense in the first place? Because they don't actual care about logical consistency, only to maintain the semblance of such. What's important is that things look and feel rational to justify the persistence of belief.

God is playing an idle/auto game. He create, let the game running, and wait for end result.
Everything on earth is 100% human's fault.

Maybe He did. He lost interest on this game because it's too fucked up, and choose to start a new game.

Why would God allow a person to be genetically coded or experience events that increase their likelihood to commit an act of murder?

The act of murder is on solely on the fault of the murderer. However, most people dont seemed compelled to commit murder. I personally could not support a powerful being beyond the scope of our universe and understanding who allows the potential for vice to fester.
Even as an experiment, the end results should have been seen, concluded, and new experiments undertaken to attempt to provide the keys necessary for betterment.

Whether or not one believes in deities, this situation aint great.

If you believe in an eternity in paradise, then it makes any amount of earthly suffering seem negligible by comparison.

I believe the excuse religious people give is "It's to test the parents faith and belief.".

That's something they can't get around either. The logical extreme for the greatest good would to be kill everybody as immediately as possible. That's the most people in paradise, with the least suffering of life.

Theres literally a user on CE who genuinely believes in the bad things happening is a test from God line of reasoning

There's way too much focus on why did God create us this way? And not enough focus on why did God create us?

When you realize that "God" is just an excuse that wannabe authoritarians cling to in order to legitimize themself rather than something people genuinely believe in, especially among those in positions of religious authority, it makes much more sense.

I think we're asking the wrong questions. Maybe God enjoys our suffering. If that's the case, why does he bother to let some people enjoy things?

Man did. It's fairly easy to explain. Leaders like Moses wanted laws. He also wanted to being people back to God. So he goes up the mountain says he talked to God and here is what he wants us to do. So the threat of damnation people straighten up and came back to God. God is just a excuse to impose mans will on others
