I watch Tubi a fair bit, and it is freaking CREEPY how fast they target the ads to you.
Got an ad last night about Canadian Leukemia foundation. Like THANKS, Tubi. I really need to be reminded about that right now. I know :/ --- Resident Shiny Hunter of CE 307 Shinys and counting! ... Copied to Clipboard!

I used to watch it all the time. For some reason it doesn't work on my computer anymore, i keep getting some weird error. It was great for South Park, The Red Green Show, and a few other comedies. Occasionally they'd have good movies on there, like The Naked Gun. I Initially started watching because they had all the Mission Impossible movies, but those got removed like the 2nd day after I started watching.
It's a great concept imo. It's used to funnel customers into Paramount+, and it doesn't have any account requirements so you can just quickly watch from any device. I wish Netflix, Disney, and Apple had "free" versions of their platforms like this. But yes the ads are annoying. And most of the ads are internal -- Paramount+, the drew barrymore show, etc. So it's basically like borrowing from peter to pay paul -- they are likely running it at a big loss. --- AMD is the best company in the history of computing! ... i think they do it on purpose cus i actually get excited whenever there's a new ad lol. mine pretty much cycles between 4-5 ads, sometimes playing the same one multiple times in a row.
with tubi, it's a bit less repetitive in terms of the ads that are played, but i've noticed I get longer, slightly more frequent ad breaks on that compared to pluto. i don't mind it too much, except when i'm really sick with a fever or something, cus seeing the same ads on repeat while delirious is a nightmare scenario for me. --- ? ...
