The cost of cutting the meat from five guys is worth the price.

What shape do you cut the meat that makes it worth it?

The appeal of Five Guys used to be that their burgers and portion sizes were good enough to justify the higher cost compared to a drive-thru restaurant

Now they've jacked their prices up by a lot without increasing the quality/portions alongside them and that value is no longer there

At least nowadays, everywhere is incredibly overpriced

Their veggie burger is actually really fucking good. I get it sometimes just to get it, I'm not even vegetarian.

I haven't been in over ten years because of how pricey they are.

They're selling a regular cheeseburger for 11 bucks last time I was there, and considering their burgers aren't great it's just not worth the price. Shame too because the fries are great

It's also lame that their small fries are really large fries both in terms of size and price. It's okay once you know that, but once in a while I'll see someone get medium fries and get trolled.

Because they're not worth it?

I had a Dr. Appt. that was next to one a few months back. I had never been in one and of course had heard their name so I walked in after my Appt. and actually laughed at their prices. They were so absurd.

I went to a burger place in Jacksonville (been a couple times) that does a burger roulette, it's $15.

What I got yesterday was a burger, cheddar cheese, a hand breaded fried chicken breast shaken in buffalo sauce, bleu cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado, on a honey oat bun. What my friend got was two burgers, mozz cheese, bacon, eggs, bbq, pulled pork, roasted peppers and onions, on a honey oat bun.

For the same price, you can get a standard 5 guys burger. And that's fine, but I feel like they're heavily overpriced for 'fast food'.

Do they have any locations outside of the Discworld?

I try to limit my red meat intake, so I don't eat burgers often. I'll have Five Guys every now and then, though. They are stupidly expensive, so it's good I don't eat there often.

There is a bae/grill where I get a really good med. rare burger w/sauted onions and mushrooms, fries, and a salad for what I would pay for a burger and fries at 5 Guys.
