I clean both of mine every weekend. I have had pretty much the same routine since getting married 25 years ago. I really should hire someone so I dont have to spend so much time doing chores, but I can never bring myself to do it.

Monday - Living Room
Tuesday - Our Bedroom
Wednesday - Spare Bedroom/Office
Thursday - Laundry
Friday - Kitchen
Saturday - Bathroom

I strongly agree with you, and I dont understand why I am so hesitant. It isnt even like I was raised with a you have to do everything with your own two hands mentality-both my parents hired people to clean the house from the time I was young.

I just feel like everything is my job, a sense of meaningless duty that probably explains my high level of stress.

Yesterday. My days off are Monday and Tuesday. Every Monday the bathroom gets cleaned, the kitchen, I vacuum the house, and dust everything.
