Monopoly is one of those things that seem like a great idea at first, then halfway through you are filled with sadness, regret, a sense of shame and you just want to stop and go home.

I've played it both with and without the rule. I don't expect removing the rule to make everyone enjoy the game, but the most common complaint I hear about Monopoly is how tedious it is.

monopoly is like a real life version of a top selling steam game that everyone owns and less than 1% has the achievement for "complete the game"
