Empathetic, good at getting stuff done, works across the aisle where possible, doesn't trade stocks, stays out of headlines, not corrupt, willing to change his mind on issues when the electorate pushes him

There's a reason he's survived in national politics for 50 years.

Supporting Israel's been the default position of every US President since its establishment - not saying it's right, but that's been the position. That said, the current Biden administration is at odds with the Bibi government over how it's going about its business over there, on account of mounting civilian casualties. But so long as the war continues, Bibi's using it to stay in power. There's real civil unrest in Israel at the minute and outrage about the hostage situation - but until the war's over I'm not sure Bibi's going anywhere. Maybe others know more about the situation on the ground over there in Israel, like if there's potential for a coup or not, but that's what I surmised.

It isn't. It's using none of its mountains of leverage to make Israel stop. It is unconditionally supporting genocide, and pretending it isn't because an article comes out every other week about how Biden is furious at Netanyahu is allowing them to get off scot-free.
