It's not a difficult concept. All I'm asking for is a tooltip when I hover over a grayed out menu item that explains why it's grayed out and/or how to ungray it.

All I'm asking for is the little down arrow on a button to simply not be there if the only option is to do exactly what the button says.

All I'm asking for is for menu items to be organized by use case instead of by whatever hair-brained criteria these people use.

All I'm asking for is for SOMEONE involved at SOME stage of the design or development of the software to HAVE USED SOFTWARE BEFORE.

Pretty much this. TC should consider using a KDE-based Linux distro where they can just customize literally everything, but that might be too complicated.
