I'm thinking about starting a new run when it is closer to release. right now I gotta finish legend of dragoon, then dq 11, then persona 4

only thing I dont wanna re-do is crumbling farum azula. every single time I play, there's a huge difficulty spike for me when I get there lol.

it's been too long for me to be interested in getting back into the game at all. i'm getting Dragon's Dogma instead

I actually have no idea tbh. I hear the dlc will have some new, separate difficulty scaling from the base game, so it might not even matter.

i'll probably use my old character. new scaling be damned. i do have to play through it at least twice more to get the last two ending achievements but it took me 2 years to beat it the first time.

Yeah and im gonna hate myself for doing it cause, ill do all the mini dungeons. I cant be arsed to look up all the ones worth doing

I'll be doing the DLC on my first character first, but I'm gonna make a new character beforehand and play through again to get used to the game again because a lot of it has fallen out of my brain (and I don't have any faith characters that aren't low level so it'll be a fresh playthrough gameplay wise) and I'm a lore nerd.

Same character but I haven't beaten the game yet anyway.

I had no idea about the math behind NG+ scaling until I played Bloodborne's Old Hunters, which took 2 additional playthroughs to offset my stats somewhere good enough to withstand Laurence and Orphan of Kos. Learned my lesson well ever since then with FromSoft games.

You can interact with all that stuff and get an ending and then the game will ask if you want to go to NG+ now or wait and do it later.

Once you get an ending you can't use that last grace again, in case you wanted to for some reason. There's also a tiny possibility the DLC will add a new ending or something, though the devs have said it won't.

To get to the DLC when it releases you have to have beaten both Mohg and Radahn, then you interact with the egg in Mohg's arena and you'll be in the DLC.

I'm already towards the end of a playthrough with a character I made immediately after the DLC was announced. I decided to make it melee only. No magic, no statuses, no gimmicks. Tried to make it as DS1 as possible. I'm dreading the boss fights in the DLC.

Like all souls games, I'll take my original character through it first.
