Pretty much. I managed to beat it in 2-3 days when I was younger, and I considered myself only average at video games.

The Lion King's difficulty mostly comes with trial and error. Which meant it was tough back in the day of limited lives.

I remember playing through it with save states and dying a lot and then doing it again the old school way and beat it immediately because I learned everything that was coming and knew how to deal with it.
