Ludmila is my favorite so far. Married Dolce in 4S and 3S bachelorettes felt meh to me so I don't have a favorite there yet but I married Sakuya. Haven't played the other games

I think Ludmila probably looks the oldest out of the ones I've seen so far. But that might be because the MC has to look up when talking to her, she's either tall or the MC is short.

Oh yeah, RF4 has mods to age up both Amber and Xiao Pai. Those two being marriageable instead of Illuminata and Lin Fa always made me raise my eyebrow

I love the games but the candidates are sus as fuck lol

Everything? There's a lot more to any game than it simply having one thing you don't like. It's like if I didn't play Rune Factory 5 just because the men blush at me now but I'm not gay. It's no big deal in the end, the game isn't forcing me to marry a dude.

There are enough options that you can ignore the younger looking characters and even if you decided not to marry anyone, that's only one part of the game and it's silly to pretend otherwise.

Mix of both. The art style leans mods towards cutesy but the characters are also teenagers, each one usually still lives with their guardian and only some live independently if they're old enough. Like elf characters naturally are pretty long lived as an example.

I see no difference. The homophobia was pretty rampant with 5 but I'm not homophobic so that didn't stop me from buying it. Similarly I'm not so silly as to think the game is forcing me to marry a 16 year old anymore than Persona 5 is forcing me to bang my teacher. It's a game, you don't have to engage with everything in it, that's the whole point of a game.
