Personally, tho, I don't care to go experience the world. It just doesn't have much of an appeal to me. Until I got my job, I hadn't even left the southeastern US. I loved being on a major deployment, out to sea, and visiting other countries. Havent traveled internationally since we had kids, but they are getting old enough now to not be a pain when we travel. Very weird experience, you have this beautiful historical city center, very modern, and then you turn a corner and you walk between dilapidated commieblocks that would fit a stereotypical Soviet setting.
