Sure was. It was announced late-ish last year.

Are they gonna do Dark Forces 2? Please tell me they are. That game needs a remaster badly on modern PCs

That I couldn't tell ya, sorry. Nightdive has a rather extensive list of classic remasters, and it looks like they redid most of Turok and a few Quakes. So I guess it's possible.

No DF2 remaster AFAIK. Which is the one game in the series I'd truly love to see remastered along with the Mysteries of the Sith expansion. First game I ever played online as a child, made some great memories there.

JK would be wild to attempt. It'd be in the vein of the System Shock remaster as there's a LOT that needs cleaning up.

True, but they'd at least have some of the work already done by remastering DF. At least in terms of most weapon models, physics and sounds.
Now I'm wondering if there's some texture mods out there so I can play a slightly better looking JK, been nearly 15 years since I last played it.

EDIT: Looks like someone uploaded a Remastered mod to the Nexus only 2 weeks ago. In fact, the only 3 mods on Nexus for JK are all texture/HD mods.
And the freaking Massassi Temple site is still up in all its early 2000s glory, still being updated as well.

Yeah, that price is insane. It's "Very Positive" on Steam, but if you look at all the reviews, 90% of them are like "Great game but WTF at that price. Wait for a sale"

It should've been half that at most. I want to get this but I'm definitely waiting for a sale

Like, I love Star Wars, but we'd have to have been in the dark ages of like 2014 with no Star Wars games for a while in order to justify the price.

The Battlefront 1/2 remaster with 64 player mulitplayer comes out next week <_<
