This is something that would have come up long before wedding night lol. But my girlfriend basically does this already. She's not really a gamer though. But will play a Mario game every blue moon when I bring it up.

Opposite for me.
Depending on the game and IP, I sometimes don't care about the story. Specially MP games. So I will tune it out or skip it. My wife plays games mostly for their stories and follows the plots more than I do. Then she will explain things that I miss. Kind of an ADD thing for me. --- Your face looks like I need a beer. ...
