I want(ed) to upgrade my phone (S22 Ultra but the 128GB/8GB RAM is killing me) and get a good speaker/sub system for my vinyl player.

I wound up having to replace my gaming laptop (i7-8750H and 1060 3GB) though, which cost me $1850 after tax. New laptop has a i9-13900H and 4070 8GB.

<_< any more large purchases are going to have to wait. I can afford to get what I want still, but I'm also trying to keep some money in reserve.

Ill be buying a new large screen OLED this year. Its my only planned purchase for the whole year outside of required bills.

Have you considered a Hybrid?

After seeing Tesla kind of fall apart quality control wise, it's made me extremely nervous from getting any full-on EV until at least the 2030s. By then, hoping the anti-EV crowd will have dissipated and the charging infrastructure will be so firmly implanted that it won't be a concern.

I know you can go from one end of America to the other (in a Tesla, at least) now, but my concerns still aren't fully assuaged.

Having bought a vehicle within the past 2 years, it'd be the only thing I'd change. Buying the Hybrid version, instead of the strictly ICE version.

Wedding is about 3/4 the way paid off. Happening in fall.

I want to buy a new camera and a set of prime lenses but it's gonna cost me like $12k and I can't justify that rn when I'm paying for a wedding lol

Which canera are you going for? I started this hobby recently mainly for landscape and product photography. I use a canon r8 with a cheapo 50mm prime

Maybe a car. That'll probably have to wait until next year though.

FX6 or FX9 just so I can I pick up lower budget gigs and not have to rent lol video not stills for me. The R8 is a fun camera.
