I don't use apps much for anything.
I don't sign up for loyalty programs of any kind much at all either. I just want to buy the item for the advertised price and end the transaction. There is something that always makes me a little uncomfortable with getting stuff cheaper out of "loyalty" but knowing I am the product.

It feels like an okie doke to me. Just day hay we'll give you an item cheaper if you let us sell stats about you.

I am also getting old and I find changing my ways for new tech harder each day.

Today we had a lady make an Order on Slice, easy enough, right?
So the order goes to the back, no big deal.

A half our she calls in to cancel it.

A little while later she makes a phone order of the exact same thing.
I was the one to take the phone order.

Having said that, I also had a walking that 100% ordered Backed Ziti, and tried to modify it.
When he got his order, dine it, he swore he ordered something different.
Pretty good chance he was trying to scam the system, and it worked.

For the most part it is the older people that are worse. *Caugh* Boomers.

At least the stoned younger folks, are generally more appreciative.
It would be better if they could focus enough to make an order though sometimes.

NGL, I see Rays of Sunshine and Rainbows when I pick up the phone and there is a cool, kind, collected, and caring voice who knows how to.....talk.

1: Some people go out to eat to get away from the dullness of daily life. Diving right back into a soulless app ruins that feeling.

2: That gross feeling of streamlining everything to cut out low wage workers so some guy can buy another yacht.

3: The apps suck and the tablets are grimy and Id rather talk to a human.

I mostly use Grab and Capichi to order food if Im at home. Sometimes Facebook Messenger.

I need the space for apps I actually like using.

I very rarely go to any of those places and I have an extreme disdain for apps that should just be websites. Which is a category that every single fast food and restaurant app falls under.

All that aside. I'm of both minds when it comes to the apps. I can very much relate to that clip of Dennis from It's Always Sunny. But I also do love the convenience of seeing the whole menu and what my customization options are.

I dont really order much fast food, but I figure why can't it be a website.
