Remember!

When Republicans say, "The economy is bad," the correct response is ALWAYS, "No, the economy is GREAT! And btw Donald Trump a rapist with 91 felony charges."

The correct response is NOT, "Oh I feel your pain and I acknowledge how bad things are for you but ALSO, HAVE YOU CONSIDERED, IN ADDITION"

That message is not going to reach most voters, they are not going to be persuaded by that!!!

Most voters are extremely low-information, they don't pay attention to politics, they're persuaded by the vibes they pick up on social media and the news. The economy is GREAT!!! It's not a lie! The economy really is good right now, best economy since the 1990s, but voters disapprove of Biden 70-30 on the economy because they're being completely misinformed by the media and social media!

Our ONLY HOPE to prevent fascists from taking over America is by changing the narrative, and the ONLY WAY we can do that is by talking to our friends and loved ones about stuff like this....... we have got to change the narrative! Joe Biden has done a great job on the economy and that's a FACT, don't question it, don't laugh it off, say it with confidence, because it's TRUE.

I certainly don't have my finger on the pulse of the economy so I don't know. How might you prove the economy is better than a republican would claim? ...Not that it would be worth wasting your breath on I suppose.

There are lots of reasons!

#1: Real Wages are UP, even accounting for inflation. Americans are making more money than ever before in history, ESPECIALLY the working poor! The inqueality gap has SHRUNKEN under Biden!!!

#2: Rents are currently coming down too, are in a deflationary period. Median earners are spnding less on rent now than pre-pandemic.

#3: USA is one of the only countries IN THE WORLD that isnt in economic slowdown right now!!! While China, Britain, Japan are flirting with recession,USA is OFF TO THE RACES!! The odds of China's economy overcoming the USA's this century are a LOT smaller than they used to look.

#4: US stock market at all time highs, lifting people's retirement savings/401Ks, spurring innovation, especialyl in emerging sectors like artificial intelligence, etc

Because you're on a video game forum, and there's been lots of layoffs recently in video game industry coming off the pandemic BOOM..... it's anecdotal bias. The unemployment rate right now, is as low as it's ever been.

1. Basically everyone in the country is employed...
2. AND people have more bargaining power
3. AND workers have more bargaining power, which is fueling a resurgence of unions/labor
4. Which is causing people to make more money...
5. AND inflation is defeated!!

THINGS ARE GREAT!!! We are pushing back the tides of 40 years of conservative policy impact... all we hav eto do now is BEAT TRUMP and we can make this last!!

This is probably true in a technical sense, but what I know is that rent is higher and food is more expensive, and that's all that directly affects me. A low info voter is likely to share my plight and think you're talking nonsense.

I work for a major software company and I heard about layoffs happening in my department just today, I was not hit but it's not just video games.

Layoffs dont happen out of necessity. They happen out of greed. Remember when Acti-Blizz announced record profits and the layoff of 800 people in the same speech?

My father could support a family of four comfortably, on his unskilled labor job, with two vacations a year.
If the economy is so great, why can't I?

Neither party seems to want a return to those times.
