mcdonalds using the app has by far the best deals (not saying anything about the quality tho)
wendys and BK also have pretty good app deals

taco bell has the app exclusive boxes that are a pretty decent deal, but they dont do much (any?) BOGO or price reduction deal stuff

ummm arbys has decent deals on their app.
subway is hit or miss depending on whether your franchise honors corporate deals or not (BOGO footlongs, etc)

dominos has the best pizza deals through the app of the major chains

through wendys app last night, I got a daves double with bacon (i think comparable to a double quarter pounder, but idk), a classic chicken sandwich, a large fry, a 4 PC nugget and a large drink for $8

If you remove apps with discounts/offers from the equation and ordering for a single person maybe. Taco Bell never has offers in favor of the rewards program that earns you a free cheaper item. McDonalds always has a 30% off min $10 purchase and/or free items and so do Burger King and Wendys so you can probably spend less there, especially with more than one person.

It's one of them for sure. You can probably eat for even cheaper buying certain things from the grocery store.

McDonalds, Burger King, KFC and Popeyes are all cheaper than that here. So are lots of good places.

wonder why fast food really wants to use apps though. Many older people who loved paper coupons must not be happy.

Depends on how you want to stretch fast food. I believe on a pound for pound basis little Caesars is the cheapest. $5.55 for a cheese or pepperoni hot n ready.

apps are nothing but a win for fast food companies tbh

they dont have to pay someone to take your order
can serve a higher volume of customers because theyre not being bottlenecked by how fast a customer is verbally ordering and how fast the taker can send it to the kitchen
and can delay or rush it as they see fit through the order tracker

don't a large number of people use the app but do not place their order online. Go up to register and they scan the code on your phone

Taco Bells Build Your Own Box deal on the app is probably one of the best deals in fast food. But it is app exclusive and the comparative in store deals are like twice the price.

they havent been less than $6 in like 5 years here
tbh dominos $6.99 mix and match (can get any 2 topping medium, sandwich, salad, chicken wing? i think?) is better deal anymore imo

dunno, that still takes the bottleneck out of the drive thru tho
my cousin owns a bunch of sonic drive thrus and i took a job as GM at one when i had to close my bar due to COVID lockdowns
the way their app orders worked, they went straight to the kitchen order screens, front of house only saw them as they moved up the queue

Taco Bell is one of the most expensive for what you get. Theres a Mexican restaurant right across from the Taco Bell near me. The tacos there are cheaper than TBs regular crunchy taco, and have 3x the meat and cheese. Oh, and no explosive diarrhea either.

TB was affordable back in the day, but now its highway robbery.

You have to be a millionaire just to open a McDonald's franchise

It's 1 million just to buy the rights and then you have to pay for the land which if you want it in a prime location in a city could run you well over another million.

Edit: oh and they can also just take it all away from you if they feel like you're not following their instructions.

yeah reportedly it is not even close to being a good moneymaking venture if you have a lot of money, possibly it was in the past.

I'd say Little Caesars gets you the most bang for your buck still. Their classic pizzas are $6.49 and their lunch combo is $5.99

Taco Bell has the build your own cravings box for $5.99 that's a great deal, but it's the only thing that comes close to cheap pizza for calories per dollar

Don't get me wrong, Taco Bell is my favorite fast food place of all time. But outside of the online exclusive cravings box deal, their prices have skyrocketed. The Mexican Pizza costs almost double what it used to

you could buy a pound of butter for like $3 if all you give shit about is calories (which is apparently ~3250)

i'm more concerned w how filling it is for the price, and taco bell sits in your stomach like a fuckin rock if you get anything with beans in it. i could eat an entire little caesars pizza and still be hungry tqh

like i said my cousin (at the time) owned 5 sonics, and just opened 3 more. the store he had me running wasn't even one of their busier ones and they were still turning $3mil+/year from that location.
