Benzino and Eminem had beef years and years ago. Recently Eminem released a new diss track towards Benzino. Benzino responds but ends up doing a recent interview about it.

That's just the highlight of him crying about it. The interview initially started with Benzino insulting Eminem but after a few drinks he starts tearing up about it.

Honestly after watching this it really feels like the original beef with Eminem 20 years ago ruined this man's life. Granted it was largely due to his own hubris that any of that happened in the first place, but considering every aspect of his professional and personal life, all the way down to his relationship with his kids, has revolved around Eminem ever since then, I can see why he would get like this. Dude honestly just needs to disappear from the public eye.

Sad thing is, I still bump Benzino's old group, The Almighty RSO, they put out one album that is fire beginning to end. Doomsday: Forever RSO.

Then he started Mademen garbage, beefing with Em and becoming just a joke.

Outside the beef, I had never heard of this dude and until today hadn't heard of him since.

IIRC it started because Benzino specifically said he won't give a white rapper a 5/5, while simultaneously giving his own projects 5/5

Because after 20+ years it's still the main thing people associate him with, and not in a good way. Literally any time Benzino is interviewed for any reason it always goes back to Eminem.

This man was an actual rapper himself and had a lot of influence given his role with The Source, but in 2023 all it boils down to is that he's that guy Eminem wrecked in a beef.

That's why I think he just needs to get out of the public eye. People will never stop asking him about Eminem. Ever. But he can stop doing interviews and stop giving them a reason to bring it up. And if he stops talking about Eminem, the beef is effectively over.
