No, but I had a doctor stick in her finger up my butt about 12 years ago because I was worried about my prostate for whatever reason. Boy, I love being anxious for no reason.

My understanding is they are not covered by a lot of insurances. Dunno why. Someone told me it's because it's because insurance doesnt cover cosmetic reasons but thst can't be right. I didn't go to the dentist cause I felt like it one day and said gee golly I really want a root canal.

Employer insurance. Actually really good one too. Top 5 in the state I believe.

Yep, I unfortunately make too much to be covered by medicare (the national provider) but not enough to afford a comercial plan that would cover anything worthwhile.

You are thinking of car insurance. Not health. It's illegal to drive without car insurance.

The doctor puts their finger in and feels the prostate to see if there's any pain or swelling. I had a doctor feel mine for some reason when I'm pretty sure I just had food poisoning or something, and also got an excuse note for a class I missed that was also a reminder that it was against university policy to require a doctor's note.

Nope, cant make money off a dead man. They take you to an ER and they fix you up and tell you that you owe them millions.

Nah. I have both medicaid and medicare (medicare advantage plan/PPO (basically a medicaid and medicare dual coverage plan)) so if I am going to an appointment for something I need it.

Just last week I made an appointment to take an eye exam since I had trouble with that at the DMV (it is renewal time for me). Humana paid just enough to get me some glasses from the value section of lenscrafters so they actually do come through for me.

When it comes to the medicare advantage plans it can get a little tricky for the dental stuff. You get a certain amount limit per year, and while my plan actually will pay for the stuff like the tooth replacements (something I am going to have to go in for at some point) whatever dentist you are seeing basically has to tell them its essential/not just for cosmetics.
