David Raya what a fucking beast. Stopped two, it should've been three. What about our captain? Sprinting and pressing for 120 minutes, then steps up to take a HUGE pressure penalty and hits it into the side netting, totally unstoppable to set us on our way.

Cookie cutter last 8 so far entirely. I know PSG was group runners up but then they managed to draw Real Sociedad being that, they were always favorites.

It's nice because it feels like every team has somewhat of a chance though some bigger than others. I won't say that about the Dortmund/PSV winner but yeah.

I watched Barca vs Napoli first, then switched and saw extra time of the other match. I'm happy I did, it was a fun match to watch. Both teams play possession based few touches ball. It makes for a very intense and good match with lots of chances.

We've played psv four times over the last two years so though it'd be favorable, I'm not super interested because even though we can beat them, I feel like they'll know how we play and how to nullify it and I'm over the terror ball.

Yeah I get that. I would think Dortmund is the heavy favorite today though, they have quite the stadium atmosphere for European nights.

You're still behind Germany and Italy with 5 teams against their 3 and 4. I'd say you are favorites to go past Germany. Although since points are devided by total teams, England (and Spain) also have to divide their points by more as Sevilla and Wesr Ham won competitions last year while finishing too low to qualify otherwise.

Barcelona and Bayern were 1a/1b for me. Both teams we need revenge against. Both teams who will play football against us.

I feel like VAR has become the scape goat for rules people disagree with. That there was 100% by the book.

Multiple games now where we have hand balls by the opponents not given and now 2 goals disallowed for barely if anything hand balls. It's tiresome.

Oh yeah I guess we weren't watching the same thing. In any case, we can definitely agree handball rules aren't great and are in a place where they are hard to officiate but VAR is not really the problem here.
