The ones that cost like 5 cents for each pen that come in like packages of 10. Maybe easily most people who use pens use these kind. I would say easily the cristal bics work the best.The ones you can see inside. The papermates are really bad., like most don't work

those papermate ones are pretty terrible

At Dollar Tree they have an eight-pack of pens from a brand called Clip-Click. And theyre actually really good. But its weird that the 8-pack ones are always reliable while the 4-pack ones (from a crap brand called Jot) are trash.

edit: I hand write things a lot and a single pen can last months.
