The thought crossed my mind about having a border collie character who was good at dodging rather than running. The character could add a unique gameplay mechanic in one on one competition, like a boss fight who becomes an ally, while still highlighting the ability of the running-intensive characters. I flush of embarrassment ran of me when I realized that I had just come up with a Sonic OC character.
