If none of those people identify as Democrats then it just is what it is. People who vote Democrat (or Republican) 100% of the time are not the ones deciding the election. --- Stop it. The media wants to know why a Trump supporter voted Biden, why an Obama supporter voted Trump, etc. The grand majority of people who ever voted Trump probably don't consider themselves Democrats, so Dems are unlikely to be featured in this type of reporting. --- Stop it.
