Are canned beverage able to be saved long term unopened or would they be prone to pressure or leaking or anything akin to that over time?

Would it be better to empty the contents and just save the can itself?

I've read varying reports online.

Thanks for the response and your insight. I'd rather keep mine unopened as well.

Some on Quora that were talking about those old Phantom Menace cans and how they leaked after a few years, but then a few on Reddit about a guy who found an unopened BFC Monster from 2013 and it was fine.

This is a Ghost Energy When We Were Young Orange Cream limited black can.

I had an anniversary can of something and eventually a tiny leak sprung out the bottom and it eventually dripped out entirely. On one hand fuck. On the other hand it was kind of cool having a completely empty can that had never been opened.

Whatever hole the liquid dripped out of, it was too small to see.

I'd say as long as it isn't exposed to extreme temps, you should be good.
Just remember to keep it safe or whatever if you want to keep it after you move
