Honestly I was a pretty good kid at all ages. I "grew up fast' Lots of responsibility at a young age. My dad was a single dad who raised me. I was an 80's "latchkey" kid who pretty much took care of myself. Moved out at 17 and joined the military.
I really don't think at any point I was cringy but I suppose any little kid can be at some point. Not as a teenager though.
