Don't run a mile and work out afterwards as mentioned. Sweating that much obviously you have to refill your body with something.

I know Gatorade's not great but I used to drink a good amount of Gatorade and eat peanut butter and crackers at work. Things could get crazy in that backroom and that kept me going more times than I can count.

I probably drink close to that daily. I have a 40 oz water bottle that I fill up 2-4 times a day, even when not exercising.

How safe do you think drinking tapwater is? Could be all kinds of chemicals and particles floating around.

You can buy a filter for your tap water. Also I kinda wonder how much of this bottled water is from the purest spring in Vermont or whatever ppl put on their bottles. It never runs out! Heh

I do drink water from tap (I live in a place where I don't think it is contaminated) and some bottled water, but I certainly was never so paranoid where I'd only ever drink bottled water. I know certain places it isn't recommended.

I live off my tap, but yeah not all taps are the same.

I drink water 99% of the time, with the occasional Powerade Zero once or twice a week. I drink roughly 2/3 of a gallon per day which is a good amount. I'm definitely not dehydrated and I work out 6 days a week and sweat a lot while I do it.

My tapwater has a ton of dissolved solids... So I use the ZeroWater filter. Brings it all the way down to zero solids and tastes great.

Takes effort because it filters pretty dang slow compared to other water filters. But that's why it is good. And cheaper than bottled water.

I drink lots of water lol

Water is lifeblood in general. Especially in King's Quest V I think it was when the narrator really hams it up for Sir Graham.

Yes. A woman died in a radio contest to drink as much as she can and hold her bladder as long as she can. She won I think. But later died that night

I'm getting worried about my liquid intake. The last few days at work, I've gone through three water bottles, a Gatorade, and maybe even one other drink.

I think maybe it's because it's stuffy in the hospital. I think maybe they're overheating it because the temperature swings 20 degrees with the low being below freezing. But I don't know. I'm a little worried.

Isn't excessive thirst a sign of onset diabetes?

Its possible yes, but usually because you drink so much water CONSTANTLY that your intake of electrolytes from food cant maintain balance. I can see how someone holding it intentionally could kill them. The body is trying to rid itself of excess fluid but it cant, causing electrolyte imbalance, which causes all kinds of shit.

That's what I actually was thinking of I knew. Like one time (dammit) I was in a car with my older brother and his friends in Philadelphia on a major road and I guess I had too much Coca Cola like whatever I just had to go and I saw an Wendy's pass by.

And I felt like I could hold it for awhile so I didn't say anything. Cars are second choices. Anyhow I really had to go so we stopped at a gas station and......

Hmm...

*googles gallons to liters*

3.7ish.

*considers drinking levels of water*

I mean, I generally have at least 2 liters, though even that can be a bit on the dry side if I am not going with a "soup day" or something. But yeah, I do not need an entire gallon of drinking water I guess.

Seriously who measures drinking water in gallons?

I feel like a dork talking about Fahrenheit. Is Philly are shit. Heh I mean is I think the USA is the only place that uses F. Canada certainly doesn't.

I am starting think because of wars. The USA came up with their own systems which that is original. But is often to stubborn to change. Plus when it is embedded in society that is difficult. But you can decide that.......

Well back to my story, I really had to go because I told my older brother and friends I was going to piss in the car or out the door somehow. I offered a convenience clerk store 20 dollars. Because I knew he had bathroom somewhere but he turned me down. What? How.

Eventually they found a construction site with a portable poddy. And I think we all it did there.

Now now. At least degrees F is useful for daily life due to the fact that between 30 and 100 is 70 whole degrees of variable comfort.

Like, the metric type I usually am, I still myself like F for daily temperature. Or at least I understand its appeal and such, and am familiar with it.

Its the rest that I hate. ESPECIALLY POUNDS AND POUND-FORCE!
