Silly = you wanted it and you had the money, but it barely improved your life (if at all), it couldn't be considered an investment, when you explain it to other people they look perplexed and your best guess is that you just really wanted that thing.

last year I flew into Chicago Sunday morning to go to a cubs game where they were doing themed bobbleheads for the rookie of the year movie, including having the actor throw out the first pitch. And then I flew back that night. I wasnt even able to watch the game because of a 4 hour rain delay and I would miss my return flight. But I got a bobblehead.

probably spent $400-500 bucks total between my wife and I factoring in wrigley tickets, flight and rental car. Not to mention food

Definitely clothes, I don't live in an environment where things like sport coats are needed. But if I had to pick one it's definitely would be this jacket I had made back in 2017, the styling and color are pretty out there, an electric blue cashmere sport jacket with an action back which looks like something out of the 1970s.
