One person in question died during the interrogation when he was pressed to death. He went out that way because law at the time said that if you died without a conviction you were innocent so your family could inherit everything. They actually had trials, it's not just a name, and far more accused were found innocent than not. The charges were bullshit but they followed their legal process to the letter. Witches and demons are obviously not real. If anyone thinks someone is genuinely guilty of summoning a demon they need to get checked into a psych ward.
