That's actually fairly impressive.

And I guarantee 99% of people saying "I can do that, too" wouldn't actually be able to be understood that clearly. Anybody can "talk with their mouth closed," but to actually be able to speak actual words and not just sound like a Charlie Brown adult, without moving your lips, is incredibly hard to do.

To be fair, what sounds clear to us is different than what sounds clear to other people, since we obviously already know what we're saying.

Try it around somebody else and see. That's really the only way to know.

This is what I'm talking about. Those people are all voice actors, and yet even they're impressed by how clearly she's doing it. It's a very unique talent, to make it so clear.

People understood me when I did it when I was younger. I haven't done it for many years though.

Yeah, I came off fairly strong. I shouldn't have been so aggressive. My point was that it's actually a very impressive thing to do, because while any of us may THINK we're doing it very clearly, we can't judge, because we already know what we're trying to say. To actually be able to enunciate in a way that other people understand what you're saying is a rather unique talent.

But honestly, I probably put too much attention into a topic that, based on the TC, was clearly only posted because of the pokies.

That's probably true, since it actually fits with the Laura Bailey example somebody posted. If you ever watch a video of her voicing a character in a studio vs. live, her lips don't really move much in the former, whereas they do in the latter because she's trying to accentuate things to kinda "look" like the character. It's very intriguing, and she's always been a very fun example to watch. So what you're saying makes sense, since if you're already used to talking in that manner, then it probably comes more easily.

Yeah, I can too. It's literally just talking with your mouth closed. You'll have to project your voice more to make it more clear and your cheeks puff up due to the air in your mouth.
