mercurydude 11/14/23 7:51:27 PM #6:	The ones who do that believe that their "Merry Christmas" is devalued by people being able to say "Happy Holidays." They believe that other people don't matter and that their way is the only way that should be allowed... this is the opposite of the golden rule, but since when has that mattered to them? When I was a kid, these two phrases were synonymous. Whichever one was said to me, I'd happily say it back to the person without any thought given to it.
