I need to give you a little rundown of my living situation. I live with my brother and his fianc. My brother and I own a pretty big house that my parents left us. My brother and I have been splitting the monthly payments for a few years.

My brothers fiancs grandmother came to visit for a week to help with the baby she had with my brother. I work 7 on/ 7 off 12 hour shifts overnight. (Im at work right now actually) So when I get home I pretty much just go to my room and fall asleep eventually. When I wake up, I usually have about 30 minutes to an hour of free time before I need to get ready for work.

Its Day 3 of her being here and stops me while Im getting ready for work to call me out for staying in my room all day long. Im literally sleeping the vast majority of the time and its MY house. Why the hell is she calling me out about this? Why is it her business?

I think I need to vent about it because its been annoying me since I got to work. Maybe its not that big of a deal and Im letting it get to me.

Nothing lmao. She started to back off once I told her my schedule. No idea how she didnt know when she saw me get ready for work every night 3 days in a row and didnt bother to ask her own fucking daughter about my schedule. Fucking stupid. I wanted to go off on her so bad

Old people like nagging for some reason. Can you tell if she's doing that old person thing where they're just breaking your balls, or if she's genuinely trying to get on your case?

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't appreciate that, seems like a legit grievance to me.

I thought about that but times are weird right now. Last time I looked at apartments prices were really high. I will probably be paying more for less. My brother also has 2 kids so I dont think he can currently get by without me paying half. Things are probably about to be different in that regard because his fianc about to start working again since his 2nd baby is 9 months old. There are other small issues too. I wish I could just sell the other half of my house and move but that probably wont happen until a few years in the future
