I think it depends on how suddenly it's lost, like if you lose it gradually, your skin can adapt and retain it's elasticity. I lost a lot of weight while on a hike, but it wasn't like overnight, so I didn't have this weird angel wing thing going on that some people have, especially when they do the surgeries.
