Lmao Spirit offers First Class? Why

I didn't know Spirit had first class

$300 was the price for RT flight with "big front seat", 1x carry on, and expedited security/boarding. So seems like this is all inclusive. Basic economy for the same route is $330ish, and that has 1x carry on, but no seat selection and probably last to board.

It's not really a traditional first class, like they don't have lounges or anything like that, but it's just a bigger seat and you get to board first.

Genuinely asking - why do you/people care about boarding/exiting first? Connecting flight is the only reason I can come up with

In my experience, all airlines suck. I haven't had a significantly worse time with spirit or frontier than any of the major airlines.

Boarding first you get first crack at stashing your carryon, so it doesn't end up checked. Though in first class there's almost always enough room anyway. Personally I hate spending extra time on the airplane and would rather be last one to board if I was guaranteed a place for my bag.

Exiting first, again, why spend more time on the plane than you have to?

Of the 40-50 times I've flown, I've never once not been able to get a spot for my carryon.
And just personally, waiting(read: sitting) an extra two-five minutes for my turn to exit has never been a big deal.
To be fair, I've always been good about taking shit in stride.

Boarding and exiting early makes a lot of difference when you have a schedule to keep but also it's just really nice to be off the plane quickly after a long flight.

To be clear, not trying to be contentious or whatever. Just not something that I personally get as a big deal.

Space for carry on right next to me, vs. at some random available overhead space or being forced to check it.
