That's like me going into watch a Shakespearean movie and complaining there's not enough kung fu action scenes.

i dont even know what a deep plot is tbh. i only care about the characters

I think people are just sick of Marvel movies out the ass.

Why do some people look for deep character development in a popcorn action movies?

That's like me going into watch a Shakespearean movie and complaining there's not enough kung fu action scenes.

How dare people be critical of things.

Dumb action isnt enough to keep me entertained or invested more often than not.

I dont need a deep plot, just something that doesnt become tedious. The first Pacific Rim is an incredibly dumb movie, but it has enough going on that it keeps my attention in between the giant robots punching monsters.

Why is "action" in itself considered "good"? I always find the action scenes to be the most boring parts of movies. Usually I just zone out on long drawn out action scenes.

If the next F&F movie has Vin Diesel racing against aliens on the rings of Saturn using just his Dodge Charger to save his family and you gotta be critical about that then you're prolly the least funnest person at a party, if you're even invited.

So you simply just don't like action movies. Why not just say that plainly instead of saying shit like "it's because the characters are boring"?
