You breathe through grit teeth as Unger stomps over to you.

"Did you know?" you ask him. "Gold is an excellent conductor of electricity? VINDAR!"

From your shoulder, Vindar sends 25 HUNDRED VOLTS through the gold spike that then goes into the golden ground the children of Trigon stand on! Those volts then hit Unger, Aurum, Alotta and Lilian, Nora and Yanna secured on the nature side of the island. They all fall over and power down from their Trigon forms. After a moment of stunned silence, the Titans hurry to secure them all.

"They're still breathing," Robin says.

"Of course," Vindar says as he unequips from you. "I would not use fatal force."

"Rorek!" Raven says in concern as she hurries over to you. "Oh no...!"

"I know," you say while she's looking at the gold spike in your arm. "The suit's ruined."

"Don't joke right now!" she says. "There's no way either of us can heal your arm in this state."

"My mother," you say. "She can."

"Someone get Rorek's mother!" Raven shouts towards the tower.

"On it!" Mas y Menos say.

They stack up and speed to the tower. Cyborg uses a laser to cut the gold spike away from the ground, then he holds it up carefully so it doesn't fall right out of the wound. The return trip for the speedster twins is slower since they're not big enough to carry your mother while also going super fast. And as your mother sees what happened to your arm, she almost screams in horror.

"Rory, oh my word. Oh, Rory, what happened?"

"It's a long story," you say. "Just be quick, because... I can't even feel my arm."

"What?!" Raven, your mother and even Cyborg say.

"Three, two, one, now!" your mother says.

Cyborg pulls the spike out, blood spurts but your mother clamps on her most powerful healing magics. You clench your jaw while enduring the pain.

"This can't be happening," Raven says, hands on head. "This can't be happening...! How is he ruining my life even now?! How is he still trying to make my life Hell!?"

"Raven, it's alright," you say. "We won."

"No...!" Unger says, forcing himself to sit up. "We're not done...! We're not done!!"

Unger ignites again, but Captain Cold blasts him with maximum ice! Even so, Unger pushes forward!

"How is he even awake?!" Speedy shouts, aiming arrows.

Speedy shoots the arrows and they're all flashbangs. Unger keeps going?!

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Raven yells. "What are you not getting about our father being the literal worst being in the known universe?!"

"BECAUSE WE HAVE NO ONE!!" Unger shouts back. "Our mothers hated us! Their families hated us! We were either abandoned or abused! We were living in Hell!!"

"Hell..." Constantine says. "Wait, that's it!"

"What's it, John?" you ask.

"Don't you get it, kid?" he says back. "Trigon, seven children. And just look at their powers."

You think about everything you know about Team Trigon. Lilian biting, eating... Her calling Nora "NV..." Yanna yawning, making everyone sleepy... Alotta using physical attraction as a power source... Aurum making gold... Unger's anger...

"Of course!" you say. "The Deadly Sins!"

"Exactly," Constantine says. "And at the same time, that is how you can reach them."

"What?" Raven says. "Me?"

"You're their sister, and the oldest," Constantine says. "What sin do you think is left over?"

Raven has the realization for herself, same as you. She then turns back to Unger, standing there smoldering in his flames of rage.

"No one was there for you?" Raven asks. "No one loved you? And you think Trigon will change all that because he's your dad? I am your older sister, Trigon's firstborn, so listen to me when I say you are absolutely wrong! He doesn't care about anyone but himself! You bring him back, you're just going to be an afterthought to him, and THEN you'll have nothing in your lives! Do you understand me?!"

Raven looks at Lilian.

"Trigon in control means no food to eat," she tells her.

"NO food?!" Lilian repeats.

"Nope," she says. "Not even a tiny, little piece of bread."

Then Raven looks to Alotta.

"There won't be anyone to look at you with desire in their eyes," she says. "You'll be completely undesirable."

Alotta gasps and clutches her chest.

"That also means there won't be anyone to admire or desire to be like," Raven tells Nora, blindfolded as she is.

Nora herself gasps, doing her best to look in Raven's direction.

"And if there's no one else around, money and gold no longer mean anything," Raven tells Aurum.

Aurum looks around at all the gold he just made out of the island, despairing at the waste.

"And... Well, you'd probably be lying around no matter what, so I'm not even sure why you went along with any of this," Raven says to Yanna.

Yanna thinks about that, then shrugs and says, "Huh. Guess so."

"But you," Raven says to Unger. "You're so angry all the time, what happens if Trigon takes over? What reason do you have to be angry anymore? Who're you gonna be angry at anymore? You'll have won!"

"And if you don't believe her," Robin says. "then believe us."

He, Starfire, Cyborg and Beast Boy step up to be alongside Raven.

"We all saw what Trigon will do to this world," Cyborg says.

"It was nothing but fire and desolation," Starfire says.

"Now that was Hell on Earth," Beast Boy says.

"You don't have to give in to him," Raven says. "You can enjoy the good that this world has to offer. You can choose to have something of your own. You have each other. And, I mean, I'm here. We're here. It's up to you."

The siblings look to each other as they consider the offer. And they seem to see things Raven's way. Lilian, Alotta and Aurum walk over, and Yanna actually stands up on her own! Though, in a floppy manner, so it's oddly worse than her just being a ragdoll...

"Unger," Raven says, holding out a hand.

"Bootsh?" Lilian ask as she looks back.

"Boot?" Nora asks, looking around blindly. "You're not coming?"

"C'mon, Boot," Alotta says. "Raven's got a point."

"Yeah, man," Aurum says. "It's not worth it anymore."

The six keep calling to Unger, but you see the smoldering embers glowing on him.

"No," he says. "No! NO!!"

Unger turns around and runs to the remote control! And he starts punching it!

"Boot, stop!" Aurum shouts.

"NO!!" he shouts. "I NEED HIM! I NEED HIM! WORK, DAMMIT! WORK! WORK!! WORK!!!"

Unger keeps bashing the remote! And the beam starts growing stronger!?

"The energy vacuum is feeding off of Unger now!" Aurum explains.

"All that heat he gives off with his anger," Atom says, "he's going to accelerate it!"

"My barrier's already been pushed to the brink," Sixth says. "It won't hold that back any longer!"

Just as he says so, the barrier cracks at the very top of the dome!

"We have to subdue Unger and destroy the remote," Constantine says.

"We can handle that," Yanna says. "After all, he's our brother. Alotta, throw me at him!"

Yanna goes limp again and Alotta picks catches her. Alotta then picks Yanna up and uses her strength to throw Yanna toward Unger! Yanna flops through the air, just barely makes it to him, and takes in one big breath to yawn her biggest yawn yet! Unger slows to a stop but the beam is still growing in strength.

"Now you can drag them both outta here," Aurum tells Alotta. "I'll handle the remote."

Alotta uses her strength to carry Yanna over her shoulder and drag Unger by a leg. Aurum then places both hands on the remote to convert it into gold, but he's clearly exhausted from all the Midas touch-ing he's done and the remote is trying to take what energy he has left for itself.

"I've got you, man," Firestorm says.

Firestorm helps by turning half of the remote into wood, and that shuts the beam off completely.

Everyone cheers in victory, and Unger is cuffed, shackled and even put in a big ball of water Aqualad creates with the help of Uidre.

"I'm sorry, Unger," Raven says. "I don't know how to make you understand, but I'll be here to talk with you until you do understand."

"So Unger's gonna go back to jail?" Lilian asks.

"I'm afraid so," Raven says.

"But not any ordinary jail," Constantine says. "On behalf of the Legends of Tomorrow and the Time Bureau, my team and I are taking him into custody."

"The Legends of what and the what Bureau?" Beast Boy asks.

"Ooh, yeah," Constantine says. "Probably don't share that with anyone. Point is, it's all super top secret, high level government type work where we handle the really, really crazy stuff."

"Cool...!" Beast Boy, Blue Beetle and Hot Spot all say.

"What about the rest of us?" Lilian asks.

"Well, yeah, you did break out of prison," Robin says, "so you'll have to go back to another prison."

"That's not fair, we just stopped trying to bring Trigon back!" Alotta says.

"That's a good point," Jinx says. "I'm a former criminal, but I was pardoned for giving up my criminal ways."

"You were?" Raven asks with some snark. "But, no, you're right. There has to be a compromise given their change of heart."

"Then why not have the Legends of Tomorrow take them?" you suggest.

"Are you sure?" Raven asks.

"Well, the whole point of them doing this was because they felt isolated and alone," you say. "We can't separate them now and act like that's a good thing."

"He's right," Atom says. "If they're all under the same roof with the Time Bureau, they'll have each other. It won't feel like punishment that way."

"Plus," you continue, "that makes it easier for them all to talk this out with Unger, to work on him, and for Raven to visit them all."

"Leave it to Palmer to take the goody two-shoes approach," Captain Cold says.

"Yeah, but he and the kid have a point," the woman with the animal necklace says. "What better way for all of this to work out?"

"Okay, okay," Constantine says. "All six of them are coming with us."

Lilian, Nora, Yanna, Alotta and Aurum walk over to stand by Constantine and his team.

"Um, wait," Robin says. "What about all this gold?"

"Oh, right," Constantine says as everyone looks around at the half of the island Aurum Midas'd. "Firestorm, can you handle that?"

"Bro, are you kidding me?" Firestorm asks back. "I'm exhausted!"

"Well it's a good thing we showed up then," another voice says.

"What's with all the surprise appearances?" you mutter as you all look over.

Standing there is a blonde woman in white tights and jacket, with a teen girl with blonde hair in pigtails in a similar pink outfit, but with a giant white letter M on it.

"Wait..." Speedy says. "Black Canary?"

"Oh, hey, Speedy, long time no see," she says. "Well, for me, at least. And if you can't tell, it's White Canary now, long story that you'll probably be part of anyway."

"So you're also a Legend of Tomorrow?" Speedy asks.

"Not just that, I'm the leader! Wait, did Constantine really make you guys think he was in charge?"

"More or less," a lot of the Titans say.

"Well sorry that we couldn't wait for you to come back from the 15th century," Constantine says. "Is the Hundred Years War still going to last that hundred years?"

"Yes," she grumbles. "The island of Tombelaine fell to the English as intended. But to the subject at hand, time to clean this up. Maginator, you're up."

The girl with pigtails salutes, steps forward, and looks at all the gold. She takes a deep breath, eyes closed, then opens her eyes as they start glowing white. She reaches out her right hand, and as if pressing a button, she restores the island to how it looked before. "Maginator" then blinks a couple times as her eyes go back to normal, and she smiles as she salutes Canary again.

"Very good," Canary says. "Alright, everybody, let's get going."

Canary presses a button on a wristwatch device, and a rectangular portal opens up. Constantine ushers Raven's half-siblings through, the evil remote they made carried through by Captain Cold and Heat Wave.

"Bye, Raven!" Maginator says as she excitedly waves. "Bye, Bobby! Bye, past me- Uh, I mean, um, everyone else!"

Maginator then hurries through the doorway, Canary going through last to close the doorway behind her.

"Did 'Maginator' remind you of anyone?" you quietly ask Raven.

"Yes," she says quietly back. "But let's just pretend she doesn't so the timeline doesn't get screwed up."

"Ummm..." Emile says.

You turn around in surprise to see your entire restaurant crew standing there.

"You're..." Emile says with wide eyes. "You're...!"

"Really hoping to finally finish this wedding!" you say to him.

You then get in close to whisper, "If you and the others will keep my secret, I promise a raise for everyone."

Emile nods and he ushers the crew back to the tower. Then Minister Watkins walks forward.

"Well, of all the Null Family weddings, this is by far the most memorable," he says with a chuckle. "Um, did you two have any vows you wanted to exchange?"

"Yes, but I don't think I can remember them right now," Raven says with a nervous laugh.

"How about this?" you say as you take Raven's hands in yours. "Raven, I promise you, no matter how wild our lives get, with today perhaps being the wildest it'll ever get, I will always love you. Always, always, always."

Raven giggles and leans in to be forehead to forehead with you.

"Rorek," she says. "I promise you, even if our lives stop being wild, and we end up living a calm, everyday kinda life, I will always love you. Always, always, always."

You start laughing with Raven, and you feel yourself tearing up again.

"Then, by the power vested in me," Minister Watkins says, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

You and Raven indeed kiss, and everyone cheers. From there, everyone heads to the tower.

"Oh, let's not forget Jericho," Raven says.

"Oh, right, of course," you say.

You use the same combination used in Vegas: white butterfly Summon construct, some restoration magic, and the butterfly flutters around to sprinkle that on everyone.

"Okay, now we can eat," you say.

With everything as it should be, everyone heads inside and makes their way up to the rooftop for the reception.

feels like a mellow, open-ended way to end the story, but man, can you believe this CYOA series started almost SEVEN YEARS AGO? the Wordpad file says it was made on February 17th, 2017, and I think this is the longest I've gone on any CYOA ever. and at this point, I think I might even just retire from CYOAs, no way am I going as long as this one again.

Hopefully this isn't the last, but I totally understand.

Maybe a much smaller, lighter story after a well deserved break.

Seven Years is pretty impressive. It was certainly a fun story
