I agree, but really it wouldn't make much difference. Those who recognize how shady this is would have then and conservatives are fine with the rich doing shady financial things, not paying taxes, and exploiting everyone else. They deny it in public, but deep down they accept it because rich people and Republican politicians are their "betters".

Just to have it said here, you don't need to list every single bank account. It's likely that he doesn't have 5000 dollars in his bank account.

House Ethics Committee filing guidelines state that members must disclose bank accounts they have at every financial institution, as long as the account holds at least $1,000 and the combined value of all accountsincluding those belonging to their spouse and dependent childrenexceeds $5,000.

I'm not saying there isn't the potential for it to be shady, it very well could be. But there are realistic explanations as to why.

Of course, its unlikely Johnson doesnt actually have a bank account. Whats more likely is Johnson lives paycheck to paycheckso much so that he doesnt have enough money in his bank account to trigger the checking account disclosure rules for members of Congress.
