Getting out of practice with most things will do that to ya. I'm still having trouble with controls in Mario Wonder because I haven't played a 2D platformer in years.

Depends on the complexity. The first 10-15 minutes can be rough for platformers or adventure games, since they all handle similarly, but unique. Some ask you to tap buttons to grab a ledge, while others do it for you.

I got to like the middle l
of Chapter 3 of RDR2 and then took like a three month break because of real life and just decided to start over. Same with Ragnorak<img src="//:0">.

Only when transitioning from games that uses F to interact and then the next game I play uses E.

I could change the key bindings but I'm just too lazy.

Pends on the game. For me, jumping back into Metal Gear Solid V is never easy.

My current example is recently getting Mortal Kombat 9. With Kitana and Sonya there wasn't much ring rust, but I'm flailing with Liu Kang and forgot some stuff with Sindel.

On the opposite end, I used to be horrible with Mileena, but now my fingers can pull off her rolling attack almost on cue.
