Well my grandpa literally died from COVID a month before the vaccines were made available. So it couldn't have been the vaccine.

In fairness, that isn't unique to gamefaqs. Look at basically any form of media these days. Twitter, news, sports, whatever -- the goal is to say dumb shit because you'll get engagements and reactions, which spurs more people to tune in, which increases engagements and reactions, repeat until you have a nine-figure Spotify podcast contract.

It's a shitty system, but if Fandom needs traffic, then doing that is more likely to keep traffic around.

It's at the point to where whenever it's announced that someone passed away and no cause is revealed, people pin the blame on the vaccine. Someone even went as far as to fabricate a story about nearly 100 year old Betty White getting a booster days before she died.

There was a falsified story about Jamie Foxx being paralyzed and blind because of the vaccine and when Foxx himself stated that wasn't the case, people claimed that he was cloned.

Athlete Christian Eriksen suffered cardiac arrest. People blamed the vaccine. Turned out that he wasn't even vaccinated.
